FDA Releases Draft Guidance on Computer Crossmatch for Blood Establishments

The FDA has made available a draft document outlining recommendations for blood establishments to use a computer crossmatch, an electronic testing method to ensure compatibility between donor and recipient blood types, as part of current good manufacturing practice (CGMP).
