DOJ to Conduct Computer Matching Program with IRS for Debt Collection

The Department of Justice is issuing a public notice of its intent to conduct a computer matching program with the Internal Revenue Service, titled Taxpayer Address Request, to locate debtors and enforce debt collection. This program is authorized by the Privacy Act of 1974 and guidelines set by the Office of Management and Budget.
