EPA Announces Availability of Carbofuran Risk Assessment and Opens Public Comment Period

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has made available its human health risk assessment and related documents for the pesticide carbofuran, and is now accepting public comments on these documents. The EPA is conducting a 6-Phase public participation process to develop an Interim Reregistration Eligibility Decision (IRED) for carbofuran, with phase 3 of the process now open.
