EPA Finds Nashville Motor Vehicle Emissions Budgets Adequate for Transportation Conformity

The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has confirmed that the motor vehicle emissions budgets submitted by the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation (TDEC) for the Nashville area are sufficient for future transportation conformity determinations, following a 1999 court ruling that previously required EPA's affirmative approval.
