NMFS Adjusts Atlantic Bluefin Tuna Retention Limits to Maximize General Category Utilization

The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) has adjusted the daily retention limit for Atlantic bluefin tuna (BFT) in the General category to allow for maximum utilization during the October-January period, while also prohibiting the retention of school BFT less than 47 inches in the recreational fishery to align with ICCAT recommendations.
