Administration on Children, Youth and Families Announces Grant Award for South Plains Early Childhood Council

The Administration on Children, Youth and Families has awarded a $99,999 grant to the South Plains Early Childhood Council in Levelland, Texas, to provide emergency child care and early learning opportunities to young children and their families evacuated from Hurricane Katrina-affected areas. The grant will support the council's efforts to serve 13,575 square miles of rural counties in Texas.
