US to Settle Denver Radium Superfund Site with Atlas Metal & Iron Corp. and Atlas Umatilla, LLC

The US Environmental Protection Agency and the US Attorney General have reached a proposed settlement with Atlas Metal & Iron Corp. and Atlas Umatilla, LLC to address environmental concerns at the Denver Radium Superfund site, Operable Unit 2. The agreement includes operation and maintenance activities, environmental covenants, and reimbursement of response costs in exchange for contribution protection and other benefits.
