FMCSA Receives Exemption Applications for Diabetes Prohibition

The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) has received applications from three individuals seeking exemptions from the diabetes prohibition in the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations. If approved, these exemptions would allow the individuals to drive commercial motor vehicles in interstate commerce without meeting the usual requirements.
