Department of Labor Submits Information Collection Request for Mine Map Collection and Closure Procedures

The Department of Labor is seeking public comment on a proposed rule to streamline the collection and maintenance of accurate mine maps for surface and underground coal mines, as well as the submission of underground mine closure maps and notification of MSHA prior to mine openings or re-openings.
