NMFS Adjusts Atlantic Bluefin Tuna Fisheries Daily Retention Limit

The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) has adjusted the daily retention limit for Atlantic bluefin tuna (BFT) General category fishermen on previously designated restricted fishing days (RFDs) to allow for maximum utilization of the coastwide General category BFT quota. The waiver will be in effect during the month of November 2005, increasing the daily retention limit from zero to two large, medium, or giant BFT on the previously designated RFDs.
