Bureau of Land Management Announces Public Scoping Meetings for Oil Shale and Tar Sands Resources Leasing

The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) plans to prepare a Programmatic Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) to open lands in Colorado, Utah, and Wyoming for oil shale and tar sands resources leasing, and is holding public scoping meetings to gather public input.
