EPA Proposes Consent Decree to Address Environmental Defense Lawsuit

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has proposed a consent decree to settle a lawsuit filed by Environmental Defense, which alleges that the EPA failed to act on a petition to add diesel engine exhaust to the list of hazardous air pollutants within the required timeframe under the Clean Air Act.
