FAA Adopts New Airworthiness Directive for Airbus A321 Series Airplanes

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has issued a new airworthiness directive requiring repetitive measurements for the control rod gap of emergency doors on Airbus Model A321 series airplanes to prevent failure of the doors to lock in the open position, which could hinder passenger evacuation during an emergency.
