FAA Proposes Advisory Circular on Fuel Tank Flammability Reduction for Transport Category Airplanes

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has released a proposed advisory circular (AC) outlining an acceptable method for demonstrating compliance with airworthiness standards related to fuel tank flammability reduction on transport category airplanes. The FAA invites public comments on the proposed AC, which complements revisions to airworthiness standards announced separately.
