FAA Proposes New Airworthiness Directive for Short Brothers Model SD3 Airplanes

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is proposing a new airworthiness directive (AD) for all Short Brothers Model SD3 airplanes to address potential ignition sources inside the fuel tanks, which could lead to fire or explosion, and to ensure safe operation during icing conditions and fuel system failures.
