FAA Reviews Proposed Noise Compatibility Program for Southwest Florida International Airport

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is reviewing a proposed noise compatibility program for Southwest Florida International Airport, which was submitted by the Lee County Port Authority, following a determination that the airport's noise exposure maps met federal requirements effective February 11, 2005. The FAA must approve or disapprove the program by May 29, 2006.
