Narrowbanding for Private Land Mobile Radio Service: Transition to More Spectrally Efficient Channels

The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) is implementing a plan to transition 40 Private Land Mobile Radio (PLMR) channels to narrower, more efficient channels, following the National Telecommunications and Information Administration's (NTIA) accelerated narrowbanding schedule for certain frequency bands.
