FDA Approves New Animal Drug for Pain Relief in Horses

The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has amended its regulations to allow the prescription use of firocoxib oral paste in horses to treat osteoarthritis-related pain and inflammation, following approval of a new application by Merial Ltd.
