FDA Corrects Proposed Rule on Herpes Simplex Virus Serological Assays

The FDA is correcting a proposed rule from January 9, 2006, that incorrectly included a list of references related to a draft guidance. The corrected rule reclassifies herpes simplex virus (types 1 and/or 2) serological assays from class III to class II.
