FDA Approves New Animal Drug for Cattle, Amends Regulations

The FDA has approved a supplemental new animal drug application for ceftiofur, allowing its use in beef and dairy cattle for treating respiratory disease and establishing a 13-day pre-slaughter withdrawal period.
