DEA Expands Narcotic Treatment Access

The US Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) is amending its regulations to allow qualified practitioners to dispense and prescribe Schedule III, IV, and V narcotic controlled drugs for maintenance or detoxification treatment, in response to the Drug Addiction Treatment Act of 2000 (DATA).
