U.S. Government Grants Cultural Significance to Art Objects for Exhibition
The U.S. government has officially designated certain art objects imported from abroad for a temporary exhibition as culturally significant, following a series of laws and regulations, including the 1965 Act and the 1998 Foreign Affairs Reform and Restructuring Act. The objects will be displayed at the Getty Villa in Malibu, California, from March 6 to June 23, 2008.
