U.S. Department of Agriculture to Grant Exclusive License for Rice Flour-Based Frying Batter Patent

The U.S. Department of Agriculture, Agricultural Research Service, has announced its intention to grant an exclusive license to Penford Food Ingredients Company of Englewood, Colorado, for U.S. Patent No. 6,224,921, which was issued on May 1, 2001, for a rice flour-based low oil uptake frying batter.
