FSIS to Hold Public Meeting on Salmonella Risk Assessments for Shell Eggs and Liquid Egg Products

The Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) is hosting a public meeting to discuss two draft quantitative risk assessments on Salmonella Enteritidis in shell eggs and Salmonella spp. in liquid egg products, with the goal of reducing foodborne illness associated with eggs and egg products.
