Rural Utilities Service Amends Regulations for Electric System Emergency Restoration Plans

The Rural Utilities Service is updating its rules to require electric program borrowers to have a plan in place to restore their systems in the event of a major disaster, including natural or cyber attacks, and to address Homeland Security concerns.
