Navy Amends Certifications and Exemptions Under International Regulations for Preventing Collisions at Sea, 1972

The US Navy is updating its rules to inform mariners of a specific ship, USS Chung-Hoon (DDG 93), that cannot fully comply with certain safety regulations due to its unique construction and purpose, in order to prevent potential collisions in waters where these regulations apply.
