Navy Amends Certifications and Exemptions Under International Regulations for Preventing Collisions at Sea, 1972

The US Navy is updating its rules to inform mariners of a specific warship, USS JAMES E. WILLIAMS (DDG 95), that cannot fully comply with certain safety regulations due to its unique design and purpose, in order to prevent potential collisions.
