USDA Solicits Comments on Revised Watermelon Standards

The Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS) of the US Department of Agriculture is seeking public input on a proposal to update the US watermelon grading standards, which would include adding a definition for seedless watermelons and a size variance, in response to industry requests to align the standards with current marketing practices.
