Vidalia Onion Committee Changes Assessment Collection Requirements

The Vidalia Onion Committee has modified the assessment collection requirements for Vidalia onion growers in Georgia, allowing handlers to mail their payments without incurring late penalties as long as they are postmarked on or before the due date, rather than needing to be received by 4 p.m. on the Tuesday following the week of shipments.
