IRS Issues Final Regulations on Automatic Extension of Time to File Certain Tax Returns

The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) has released final regulations allowing taxpayers to file certain information returns and exempt organization returns without a signature or explanation, effective immediately, and also eliminating the need for a signature to obtain an automatic extension for corporation income tax returns.
