US Patent and Trademark Office Clarifies Filing Date Requirements for Reexamination Proceedings
The US Patent and Trademark Office is revising its rules to ensure consistency with the patent statute governing ex parte and inter partes reexamination proceedings, allowing the office to address requests for reexamination within the full statutory three months.
