FCC Denies Petitions for Reconsideration of Broadcast Television Field Strength Model

The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has rejected petitions from EchoStar Satellite Corporation and the National Association of Broadcasters and Association for Maximum Service Television, Inc. regarding the predictive model for broadcast television field strength received at individual locations, citing concerns over signal loss values and on-site reception test procedures.
