FCC Updates Technical Rules for Unlicensed Radiofrequency Devices

The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has updated several technical rules for unlicensed radiofrequency devices, allowing device manufacturers to expand their applications and giving wireless Internet service providers more flexibility to modify or substitute parts without changing the overall system operation.
