FDA Corrects Final Rule on Food Additive Regulations

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is correcting a final rule regarding food additive regulations, which established a new maximum permitted energy level of x-rays for treating food. The rule, published in 2004, contained errors in the preamble section, which have now been corrected.
