FDA Approves New Animal Drug for Catfish Feed to Combat Mortality

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is updating its animal drug regulations to reflect the approval of a new animal drug application (NADA) submitted by Schering-Plough Animal Health Corp. for the use of florfenicol in catfish feed to combat mortality caused by enteric septicemia in catfish.
