EPA Comments on Historic Trail and National Park Management Plans
The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has expressed concerns regarding the potential environmental impacts of using the herbicide triclopyr on the Selma to Montgomery National Historic Trail and Crater Lake National Park, but has no objection to the preferred management plans for these sites. The EPA supports the environmentally preferred alternatives for both trails, which include increased non-motorized recreational opportunities.
