EPA Announces Availability of Reregistration Eligibility Decision Documents for Comment

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has made available the Reregistration Eligibility Decision (RED) documents for public comment. The 60-day comment period starts today, and the documents assess the health and environmental risks of thiophanate-methyl, a pesticide active ingredient. The EPA will use the comments to determine which pesticidal uses are eligible for reregistration.
