The Coast Guard has temporarily adjusted the rules for opening the Henderson Avenue bascule span bridge across Bayou Portage in Pass Christian, Mississippi, to match the requirements of the old bridge, which was recently removed, and will allow more vessels to pass through without needing to open the draw.
