Medicare Program: State Pharmaceutical Assistance Transition Commission Meeting on October 14, 2004

The State Pharmaceutical Assistance Transition Commission (SPATC) is holding a public meeting to develop a proposal addressing unique transitional issues for State Pharmaceutical Assistance Programs (SPAPs) and their participants due to the implementation of the voluntary prescription drug benefit program under Part D of the Social Security Act. The meeting also includes the appointment of Dennis R. O'Dell, Corporate Vice President of Health Services at Walgreens, as an additional member of the SPATC.
