Bureau of Land Management Issues Final Rule on Mining Claim Fees

The Bureau of Land Management is amending its regulations to adjust the location and maintenance fees for unpatented mining claims or sites every five years, or sooner if conditions warrant, based on the Consumer Price Index, and to provide notice of any fee adjustments in the Federal Register by July 1st.
