Programmatic Environmental Assessment of Geological and Geophysical Exploration for Mineral Resources on the Gulf of Mexico Outer Continental Shelf

The Minerals Management Service has developed an environmental assessment to assess the potential environmental effects of geological and geophysical activities in the Gulf of Mexico. The assessment considers factors such as noise from seismic surveys, vessel and aircraft noise, and space conflicts with seismic arrays.
