U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Establishes Temporary Manatee Refuge in Lee County, Florida

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is re-establishing a temporary manatee refuge in Lee County, Florida, to protect endangered manatees, effective August 6, 2004, while a proposed rule to establish a permanent refuge is being developed.
