Extension of Comment Period for Proposed Coal Production Fees and Fee Allocation Rule

The Surface Mining Control and Reclamation Act of 1977 (SMCRA) will extend the comment period for proposed rules on coal production fees and fee allocation, in response to a request from the United Mine Workers of America Combined Benefit Fund trustees, following a rule published in the Federal Register on September 17, 2004.
