Boeing Issues Airworthiness Directive for 777 Series Airplanes

Boeing has issued an airworthiness directive requiring the replacement of four socket contacts on the main fuel tanks of its 777 series airplanes to prevent a possible ignition source in a flammable leakage zone, which could lead to an undetected fire or fuel tank explosion.
