FAA Proposes Update to Rolls-Royce Engine Airworthiness Directive
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is proposing to modify an existing airworthiness directive for Rolls-Royce (1971) Limited's Bristol Engine Division Model Viper Mk.601-22 turbojet engines to align with a previously issued service bulletin, in an effort to prevent multiple failures of turbine rotor blades that could lead to a dual-engine shutdown.
