U.S. Government Grants Cultural Significance to Ukrainian Modernist Art Exhibition

The U.S. government has officially designated a collection of modernist art objects from Ukraine as culturally significant, paving the way for their temporary importation and exhibition in the United States. The exhibition, titled 'Crossroads: Modernism in Ukraine, 1910-1930,' will take place at various venues, including the Ukrainian Museum in New York and the Cultural Center of Chicago, from July 2006 to March 2007.
