New Rule Proposed for Intercountry Adoptions of Emigrating Children
The US Department of State is proposing a new rule requiring adoption service providers to report on intercountry adoptions of children emigrating from the US, including those not covered by the 1993 Hague Convention. The proposed rule, jointly reviewed and approved by the Department of Homeland Security, aims to implement the Intercountry Adoption Act of 2000.
