NMFS Proposes Exempted Fishing Permit for Northeastern US Fisheries

The Assistant Regional Administrator for Sustainable Fisheries, Northeast Region, has proposed issuing an Exempted Fishing Permit (EFP) to allow a single commercial fishing vessel to operate in restricted areas, exempting it from certain regulations governing the Northeastern United States fisheries, as per the Magnuson-Stevens Act.
