NMFS Adjusts Recreational Salmon Fisheries in West Coast States and Western Pacific
Summary
The National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) modified the recreational salmon fishery from the U.S.-Canada border to Cape Falcon, Oregon, by closing it at midnight on September 2, 2004, and transferring 3,100 coho salmon from the Queets River to Leadbetter Point, Washington, to maintain the Neah Bay Subarea's open status until the same date.
