US Implements ICCAT and IATTC Recommendations for Bluefin Tuna, Swordfish, and Bigeye Tuna Trade

The US has finalized a rule implementing international trade tracking requirements for bluefin tuna, swordfish, and frozen bigeye tuna, as recommended by the International Commission for the Conservation of Atlantic Tunas (ICCAT) and the Inter-American Tropical Tuna Commission (IATTC), covering trade monitoring and recordkeeping obligations for highly migratory species, including southern bluefin tuna.
